Guitar virtuoso Steve Vai's touring rig, showcased at a recent show in Nashville, includes his trusty axe "Evo" with DiMarzio Evolution pickups, "Flo III" with a Fernandes Sustainer, a unique prototype "Bo" with blue LED dot markers, a production model "Little Pretty" with a re-radiused fretboard, a one-off prototype "Zeus" with custom pickups, a hybrid Jem/Strat "Candle" with Fender single coils, and the monstrous "Hydra" with three necks and a harp. Vai's rig also features various effects pedals, MIDI controllers, and a Fractal Axe FX III Turbo unit, all powered by Fryette LX-2 Stereo Tube Power amps and Carvin Legacy cabinets.
