Spitting Lawyer Sentenced to Jail Time in Shorewood
Stephanie Rapkin, a Shorewood woman convicted of spitting in a teenager's face during protests in June 2020, was sentenced to 60 days in jail and denied probation by a judge who felt she lied on the stand. Rapkin refused the offer of community service and said she would rather go to jail. She still faces a felony count relating to an altercation with a police officer at her home, set to go to trial in August.
