The Durango Casino and Resort, a 15-story $780 million property built by Station Casinos, has opened its doors in the southwest Las Vegas valley. The resort features 200 rooms, 15 restaurants, and a pool, making it the only casino resort in a 5-mile radius. The opening comes more than two years after gaining approval for construction, with plans for a second hotel tower and additional gaming space in the future. Durango is the first new casino resort in Las Vegas in two and a half years.

Durango Casino & Resort Set to Illuminate the Night with Grand Opening on Nov. 20

Durango Casino & Resort, a $780 million resort owned by Station Casinos, is set to open on November 20 pending regulatory approval. The resort, located in the fastest-growing part of the Las Vegas valley, will feature over 200 hotel rooms, 15 restaurants, a resort pool, and a dynamic casino environment. The unveiling of the resort's marquee, a 60-foot high double-sided display with high-resolution technology, will take place tonight. Station Casinos' future priorities include plans for a resort in the southeast valley Inspirada development and a second phase for the Durango property. Red Rock Resorts, which owns a portion of Station Casinos, reported a decline in Q2 net revenue and profits compared to the previous year. The locals market, including slot machines, also experienced declines in Q2 earnings.
