A two-vehicle crash in Geauga County, Ohio, has resulted in the death of a 9-year-old boy and injuries to six others. The crash occurred near the intersection of Ohio 608 and U.S. 6, involving a Chevrolet SUV and a Kia SUV. The driver of the Kia was also hospitalized, and the incident remains under investigation with no suspicion of drugs or alcohol as factors.

Dunlap, returned fire and killed the 57-year-old motorist, Wesley Taylor. The trooper was not seriously injured as the bullet hit his ballistic vest. The trooper has been released from the hospital and is now on administrative duty.
Two motorcycle riders were killed in a head-on collision with a car in Sandusky County, Ohio. The driver of the car was seriously injured and taken to the hospital. The victims were identified as Donald Brown Jr. and Lisa Brown, both of Clyde. The crash remains under investigation by the State Highway Patrol.
Two people from New Straitsville were seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on State Route 93 in Monroe Township, Muskingum County. The motorcycle failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway, went off the road, and struck a ditch. The injured individuals were flown by MedFlight to Ohio State University Medical Center.
