Far-right activist Ammon Bundy and an associate have been ordered by a jury to pay over $50 million in damages for defaming St. Luke's Regional Health in Idaho and harassing its medical staff. The defamation lawsuit was filed by the hospital after Bundy and his associate accused them of child trafficking and mistreatment of an infant who was taken to the hospital due to health concerns. The jury found Bundy and his associate guilty of orchestrating a smear campaign against the hospital, causing disruptions and lockdowns. Bundy, who did not attend the trial, denies the allegations and claims the trial is illegitimate.
