Mississippi jail escapee captured in Texas suburb.
Jerry Raynes, one of the inmates who escaped a Mississippi detention center, was captured in the Spring Branch area with the assistance of the Harris County Sheriff's Office and Spring Valley Police Department. Raynes is facing extradition back to Mississippi and was taken to Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital for evaluation. The investigation is still ongoing.
