BMW M4 CSL Sets Blazing Lap Record at Nurburgring.
The BMW M4 CSL has set a lap time of 7 minutes and 17.08 seconds around the Nürburgring Nordschleife, according to Sport Auto magazine. The model has a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six engine that produces 543 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. The M4 CSL is 240 pounds lighter than the M4 Competition, thanks to carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic pieces for the hood, roof, trunk, and portions of the interior. BMW plans to build 1,000 units of the M4 CSL worldwide, with prices starting at $140,895 in the United States.
