Sony has announced the free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers in June 2024, which include SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake, AEW: Fight Forever, and Streets of Rage 4. These games will be available starting June 4, with additional classic and VR titles being added to the PS Plus Game Catalog as part of the Days of Plays celebration.
SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake will receive a free update on October 16, 2023, coinciding with the game's release on PS5 and Xbox Series. The update for the Nintendo Switch version will include a Photo Mode with 19 different filters, new costumes called "King Doubloon" and "Plush Gary," and bug fixes addressing issues such as saving and playtime pauses. Despite not meeting commercial expectations, the game is expected to generate revenue over time.
