Max Park shatters Rubik's Cube world record with 3-second solve.
Max Park, a 21-year-old California native, set a new world record by solving a 3x3x3 Rubik’s Cube in just 3.13 seconds, surpassing former champ Yusheng Du’s time of 3.47 seconds. Park, who was diagnosed with autism at two years old, began using Rubik’s cubes as a form of therapy and has become a long-standing member of the Guinness World Records Hall of Fame, currently holding multiple cubing-related titles. His parents hope his accomplishments inspire further acceptance, understanding, and appreciation for talents within the autistic community.
