President M. Russell Ballard, Acting President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, has passed away at the age of 95. President Ballard served as a special witness of Jesus Christ and was one of the 15 men overseeing the growth and development of the global Church, which now has over 17 million members. He was known for his decisive leadership and his ability to apply the teachings of the Lord in one's personal life.
