Violent Purse Snatching Shakes Upstate Grocery Store

A man grabbed an 86-year-old woman in the parking lot of a grocery store in Spartanburg, South Carolina, threw her to the ground, and stole her purse. The woman suffered severe injuries and was treated by emergency medical services. Two bystanders attempted to stop the suspect but were unsuccessful. The suspect, described as wearing a light blue shirt with a Superman logo, fled the scene in a dark blue Nissan Altima. Spartanburg Shootings: Coroner and SLED Investigate Officer-Involved Fatalities.
