X's live audio feature, Spaces, now allows hosts to enable video during chat sessions on the iOS app, with options for front or back-facing cameras and landscape or vertical views. Although reminiscent of Periscope, the new feature is distinct as only hosts can currently turn on video, creating a prominent display of the host's feed surrounded by icons of co-hosts, speakers, and listeners. This video integration is separate from X's existing live broadcast feature, offering a live chatroom experience where multiple users can engage in conversation.
