Amtrak's Coastal Service Set to Launch in 2024
Amtrak announced that service on the Mississippi Gulf Coast will begin in 2024, with the project in its final stage of implementation. The rail work is expected to be completed within six months, potentially allowing service to start in spring 2024. The exact start date has not been released yet.
