Investigation into 5-year-old's freeway shooting death shuts down Southbound I-880.
Southbound I-880 at Auto Mall Parkway in Fremont has reopened after being shut down due to a California Highway Patrol investigation related to the fatal shooting of a 5-year-old girl on the 880 on Saturday night. No suspects have yet been identified in that shooting, according to the CHP. Residual delays are expected.
