A 14-year-old girl who had been missing from Washington since early January was found safe in South Haven, Michigan, with a 30-year-old man. The two were located at a home on Blue Star Highway by Van Buren County sheriff's deputies working with police from Mount Vernon, Washington.

A 33-year-old woman from South Haven, Michigan was arrested for allegedly shooting a 60-year-old man in the head. The victim and the suspect are believed to be in a domestic relationship. The incident occurred on M-43 near 12th Avenue and 72nd Street, and the victim arrived at the hospital shortly after the shooting. The woman was arrested five hours later.
