Pokemon Go players can catch Legendary Pokemon Cosmog through the Starry Skies Special Research during the Solstice Horizons event. The Special Research includes tasks such as catching different types of Pokemon, making curveball throws, and hatching eggs. Players can choose between Daytime and Nighttime paths to unlock the tasks. Cosmog can be evolved into either Lunala or Solgaleo, but players will need to use a Pinap Berry to catch it and walk 20 Km to earn Candy for evolution. The Special Research is available until June 25th and can be purchased for $5.00 for an additional chance to catch Cosmog.

Pokémon Go's "Solstice Horizons" event celebrates Pokémon that love day and night and runs from June 16-25. The event features special Pokémon spawning at different times of day, 2X Stardust for catching Pokémon, and Lunatone and Solrock spawning regardless of location. The event also includes a Team Go Rocket portion starting on June 21. The Special Research and Collection Challenge offer rewards for catching specific Pokémon, and there are boosted spawns and raid targets for players to encounter.

"Pokemon Go's Solstice Horizons: Tasks, Rewards, and Legendary Pokemon Return"

Pokemon Go has launched a new Special Research quest called Starry Skies during the Solstice Horizons event, which gives trainers the ability to encounter Cosmog for free. Trainers can complete the tasks twice for a total of three encounters with Nebby. The Special Research has daytime and nighttime branches, and after completing the tasks once, trainers can purchase a $5 ticket for a chance to complete it a second time.
