Delhi Police Arrest Mastermind Behind Parliament Security Breach
Lalit Jha, the alleged mastermind behind the recent security breach in the Indian Parliament, has surrendered to the Delhi Police after being on the run for two days. Jha, a Kolkata-based teacher, claimed that he had traveled to Rajasthan before returning to Delhi. Four individuals were previously arrested for the security breach, during which smoke bombs were set off during Lok Sabha proceedings. The motive behind the incident was to draw attention to issues such as unemployment, farmer distress, and the situation in Manipur. The Delhi Police have sought further investigation and custody of the accused, charging them under the anti-terror law UAPA and sections of the Indian Penal Code.
