"From Slumber to Adventure: The Unforgettable Journey of a 'Sleeping Beauty'"
"Sleeping Beauty," a pantomime production, is set to run at the Abrons Arts Center from Dec. 2 to 24. Directed by Julie Atlas Muz and written by Mat Fraser, the show incorporates British holiday traditions with fast-paced humor, cheeky references, and audience interaction. This is the third original production by Muz and Fraser at Abrons Arts Center, and unlike previous pantos, "Sleeping Beauty" focuses more on fairy-tale fantasy and escapism. The show features a modernized musical repertoire and a cast that includes both experienced actors and children from the Abrons community.
