In the Halo: Saturn Devouring His Son Halloween special, a team from the IMC discovers an ancient alien vessel on an asteroid. However, their excavation unleashes the Flood, a parasitic species that quickly infects the miners and civilians at Site 22. The UNSC sends in Fireteam Leviathan, a group of Spartans, to contain the outbreak, but one of the Spartans is infected and turns on their own. The situation becomes dire as the battle against the Flood intensifies.
