"Colombian Navy Discovers Shipwrecked Boat with 750+ Kilos of Drugs Adrift"
The Colombian Navy and National Army discovered a shipwrecked boat on the Naya River near Buenaventura, Colombia, containing 33 kilograms of cocaine and 744 kilograms of marijuana. The drugs were found floating in the water near the boat, and two individuals of Costa Rican nationality were also found nearby. The seizure prevented nearly $6 million from going to drug trafficking organizations and stopped the sale of over 200,000 drug doses. The Colombian navy has intercepted numerous boats transporting illicit substances in recent years, including a recent "suspicious" boat carrying $41 million worth of cocaine.
