
Foremost Group CEO Angela Chao Dies in Car Accident at 50
Angela Chao, the CEO of Foremost Group, a prominent shipping company, died in a car crash at the age of 50. She was part of a family with deep political and commercial ties in both the United States and China, and her father, James S.C. Chao, founded the company in 1964. Angela Chao and her father were among the few foreigners to have served on the boards of some of China’s largest enterprises, and she was known for building bridges of understanding between East and West.
