Multiple Homicide Investigations Underway in Sacramento County
The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office is investigating the shooting death of a 28-year-old man who was believed to be homeless and living near Sheldon Park. The victim's girlfriend, who is also homeless, reported the shooting to a resident of an apartment complex. Officials say there had been some kind of argument prior to the shooting and that violent encounters are happening at homeless camps with the transient population. The investigation is ongoing, and a suspect has not been identified.
