EA to shut down Anthem servers in January 2026
EA and BioWare announced that Anthem will be permanently offline on January 12, 2026, after nearly seven years since its launch in 2019. Despite some lingering playability, the game has been largely abandoned since development on Anthem 2.0 stopped in 2021, and the servers will be shut down in about 193 days, marking the end of its online presence.
