A serious crash on I-295 between Falmouth and Yarmouth resulted in severe injuries, with two cars appearing to have been involved in a head-on collision and two others sideswiped. The northbound lanes of I-295 were closed for several hours, causing significant delays as Memorial Day traffic gets heavier. Fire and EMS crews from Falmouth, Yarmouth, and State Police responded to the scene.
