Iranian Bank Shooting Claims Life of Senior Shiite Cleric
A senior cleric in Iran, who was also a member of the Assembly of Experts, was shot dead inside a bank by an armed guard hired by the agency providing security at the bank. The armed guard approached the cleric from behind and fired shots, killing him on the spot. The attack was caught on CCTV and the armed guard was caught and disarmed by other security officers.
