Danganronpa 2×2 Developer Explains Why They Recreated the Sequel First
Spike Chunsoft decided to remake Danganronpa 2 instead of the first game to avoid disrupting the original story, which is considered the root of the series. The remake features a completely new scenario starting after the same initial introduction, with significant story changes from the original. Danganronpa 2×2 is scheduled for release on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch in 2026.
