Valve has released a new Beta update for Steam with a new overlay, screenshot manager, and other improvements. The update includes a new Steam Overlay with a toolbar that provides easy access to friends chat, achievements progress, guides, discussions, a browser, and more. The update also includes a new notes app that lets users type in whatever they like, saved in the cloud and synced across other systems. Additionally, the update brings subtle design changes across the whole client, making it more consistent. The Steam Deck also had a Beta and Preview update with general and Steam Input improvements.
