Country music star Scotty McCreery will perform at Nebraska's Volleyball Day event in Memorial Stadium on August 30th after the Husker volleyball team faces the University of Nebraska-Omaha. McCreery, who won "American Idol" in 2011, has previously performed at Memorial Stadium by singing the National Anthem before Nebraska football's 56-7 win over Northwestern in 2021.

The concerts are free with a general admission ticket, but fans can reserve a seat for an additional $25. The fair and food festival will run from July 14 to 30, 2023.
