"Community Unites in Blue to Honor Fallen Syracuse Officers"
Schools in Central New York are honoring fallen Syracuse Police Officer Michael Jensen and Sheriff Lieutenant Michael Hoosock by encouraging students and the community to wear blue as a gesture of support for law enforcement and appreciation for their dedicated service. Many school districts in the area are participating, and some will also hold district-wide moments of silence to honor the fallen heroes.
