Parent writes note to excuse child from school to attend Taylor Swift concert.
A mother of a Taylor Swift fan wrote a note to her daughter's teacher asking for an excused absence for the first-grader to attend the pop star's Eras Tour show in Houston. The note was filled with references to Swift's famous lyrics. The teacher appreciated the note, but the mother's husband, a law professor and CNN contributor, didn't seem to approve. Twitter users found ways to name-drop other Swift lyrics in response to the note.
