"Clarivate's 2023 Journal Citation Reports: Redefining Trust and Impact"

Clarivate has released the 2023 update to its annual Journal Citation Reports (JCR), providing insights into over 21,500 high-quality academic journals across various disciplines. This year, for the first time, more than 9,000 journals from over 3,000 publishers have received a Journal Impact Factor (JIF), including those in the Arts and Humanities Citation Index and the Emerging Sources Citation Index. The JCR aims to support research integrity and promote accurate journal evaluation by providing reliable indicators of trustworthiness and scholarly impact. The reports include a range of metrics and descriptive data to facilitate meaningful comparisons and insights for researchers, publishers, editors, librarians, and funders.
