Szafnauer Survives Delta 737 Engine Failure After Takeoff
Former Aston Martin/Alpine F1 team principal Otmar Szafnauer was aboard Delta Flight 1067, a Boeing 737-900, from Savannah to Atlanta when the left engine failed after takeoff and the plane returned to Savannah. The aircraft landed safely with fire crews on scene and passengers deplaned without injuries; Szafnauer later posted that fuel was burning from the failed engine.
