Governor Ron DeSantis has allocated $75 million from the state's budget for a new satellite campus in Jacksonville, which is expected to handle around 10,000 graduate students with a focus on healthcare business, engineering, and artificial intelligence. The University of Florida plans to build a $100 million financial technology graduate school in downtown Jacksonville, but the location has not been confirmed. The Jacksonville Jaguars and owner Shad Khan want the campus to be built at the Jacksonville Fairgrounds downtown next to TIAA Bank Field, which Khan's development company bought last year.
