LSU lands dynamic transfer QB Sam Leavitt to power Kiffin’s offense
LSU landed transfer quarterback Sam Leavitt, a top dual-threat prospect, to lead Lane Kiffin’s offense for 2026 after Washington’s Demond Williams opted to stay with the Huskies. Leavitt, who posted 2,885 passing yards and 24 touchdowns with 443 rushing yards for Arizona State in 2024, missed most of 2025 due to foot surgery. LSU, rebuilding its quarterback room with multiple transfers, also added Landen Clark and has a strengthened receiving corps, positioning the Tigers to pursue a CFP berth in 2026.
