Tesla Warns Cybertruck Resellers of Severe Penalties
Tesla has added a section to its Motor Vehicle Order Agreement stating that early buyers of the Cybertruck who try to sell the electric pickup within the first year of purchase without written permission from the automaker could face penalties of $50,000 or the value received from the sale. Tesla may also refuse to sell future vehicles to customers who break the agreement. However, if Tesla agrees to the resale, the customer can sell it to a third party with written consent. The Cybertruck is set to be delivered to the first customers at the end of this month.
