NYC Couple Discovers $100K Safe While Magnet Fishing
A couple magnet fishing in Queens discovered a safe containing $100,000 in water-damaged bills. The NYPD could not link the safe to any crime, allowing the couple to keep the money. They plan to take the deteriorated bills to the Treasury Department for reconstruction.
