The group that breached Parliament in India had bought Indian flags from Sadar Bazaar, collected visitors' passes from an MP's personal assistant, and carefully planned their actions to avoid being seen as an attack, according to their questioning by the Delhi Police. The group had met virtually on a Facebook group called the 'Bhagat Singh Fan Page' and eventually met in person to raise social issues. They decided to use Parliament as a means to register their protest. On the day of the incident, two members entered Parliament with smoke bombs hidden in their shoes, while the others were supposed to protest outside. The slogans raised during the protest included "Hindustan Zindabad" and "Jai Hind."
