14-Year Captive Escapes Maniac's Dungeon in Russia
A man in Russia, Vladimir Cheskidov, is accused of keeping a woman as a sex slave in a dungeon for 14 years, during which she was allegedly raped over a thousand times. Cheskidov claims the relationship was consensual and for love. He is also facing a murder charge for another woman whose remains were found in his house. Cheskidov's mother, Valentina Cheskidova, is accused of being complicit in the kidnapping and faces up to 15 years in prison. The victim escaped when Cheskidov drank himself into delirium, and his mother called an ambulance for him.
