YouTube Music Introduces RSS Integration for Podcasts
YouTube Music is introducing the ability to add podcasts via RSS feed, as part of the transition from Google Podcasts, which is set to shut down in 2024. This feature is now rolling out for some users on Android and the web. Previously, podcasters had to upload video versions of episodes, but now they can simply add their podcasts through a private or public URL. The addition of this capability will aid in podcast discovery on the platform and facilitate the migration from Google Podcasts to YouTube Music.
