Storm Causes Flooding and Power Outages in New Hampshire
Heavy rain in New Hampshire has caused flooding and river flood warnings remain in effect for several rivers. Rainfall totals ranged from 1.5" to over 5 inches in some areas. The flash flood warning has ended, but a flood warning is still in effect for the northern half of the state due to runoff from rain and snowmelt. Gusty winds also occurred, with gusts reaching over 40 and 50 mph. The weather is expected to calm down overnight with lighter winds, and Tuesday will bring clouds, partial sunshine, and a chance of rain or snow showers. Cooler temperatures and dry weather are expected for the rest of the week.
