Takeira Hester, 28, has been charged with attempted murder after stabbing a 1-year-old boy and a 24-year-old woman in separate random attacks near Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia. The child and woman are in stable condition, and police stated that the assaults were not motivated by antisemitism. Authorities indicated that Hester was known to them and was experiencing a mental health crisis at the time of the attacks.
