Right-Wing Conspiracy Theories Unveiled in Paul Pelosi Attack Trial
A federal jury in California has found David DePape, a right-wing conspiracy theorist, guilty of attempted kidnapping and assault charges for invading the San Francisco home of then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in 2022 and attacking her husband, Paul Pelosi, with a hammer. DePape, who shared QAnon conspiracy theories and false claims about the 2020 election and the January 6 Capitol insurrection, could face up to 50 years in prison.
