Nebraska Woman's Gasoline Loophole Leads to Felony Theft Charge
A Nebraska woman faces felony theft charges after allegedly exploiting a gas station rewards card glitch to get free gas, costing the station nearly $28,000 over several months. The woman is accused of double-swiping the card to put the pump into demonstration mode, allowing her and another person to pump over 7,400 gallons of gas for free. She is currently free on bond and has a court hearing scheduled for April 11.
