"Monk" Reunion Movie Confirmed for Peacock with Original Cast

Peacock has ordered a "Monk" reunion film titled "Mr. Monk's Last Case: A Monk Movie," with the original series stars and creators returning. Tony Shalhoub will reprise his role as Adrian Monk, the consulting detective with obsessive-compulsive disorder and phobias. The film sees Monk return to solve one last and "very personal case involving his beloved step-daughter Molly, a journalist preparing for her wedding." The film will be written and executive produced by series creator Andy Breckman, with Shalhoub executive producing and starring. The film will be directed and executive produced by Randy Disk, who directed nearly three dozen episodes of the series.
