Street Fighter 2 has been added to Nintendo Switch Online's Sega Genesis collection as Street Fighter II': Special Champion Edition, which includes both Champion Edition and Turbo: Hyper Fighting rulesets. The move is surprising as Street Fighter 2 has a close association with Nintendo, but this version was the first to be released on a Sega system. The update also includes three platform action games, Flicky, Kid Chameleon, and Pulseman, for Expansion Pack subscribers.
