IDF recovers bodies of Israeli hostages from Gaza
The IDF has successfully retrieved the bodies of two Israelis, Eden Zechariah and IDF Warrant Officer Ziv Dado, who were taken hostage by Hamas on October 7. The bodies were recovered by soldiers from Unit 504 of the Intelligence Directorate and the 551st Brigade operating in Gaza. Two soldiers, Master-Sgt. (res.) Gal Meir Eisenkot and Master-Sgt. (res.) Eyal Meir Berkovich, unfortunately fell during the operation. The families of Zechariah and Dado have been informed, and efforts continue to locate and bring home all the hostages.
