"Tiana's Bayou Adventure: Disney World's Animatronic Attraction Opening and Testing Updates"
Disney announced that Tiana's Bayou Adventure, inspired by "The Princess and the Frog," will open at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom this summer and later in 2024 at Disneyland Park in California. The attraction will feature advanced audio-animatronics and a new story set after the events of the film, paying tribute to the spirit of New Orleans. The retheming comes after Disney's decision to close Splash Mountain, originally inspired by "Song of the South," due to its controversial portrayal of plantation life.
