"Frank Lloyd Wright's Connecticut Residence Sells for $6 Million"

Frank Lloyd Wright's former home, Tirranna, in New Canaan, Connecticut, one of his largest residential designs, has sold for $6 million to a family from Brooklyn who are avid fans of the architect and plan to undertake a multi-million-dollar renovation of the 7,800-plus-square-foot property, which includes a wine cellar that was formerly a bomb shelter, a rooftop observatory, and 14 acres of landscaped grounds. The estate, named after an Australian Aboriginal word meaning "running waters," was completed in 1955 and was previously owned by the late founder of Danbury Mint and his wife.

"Grimaldi-Nacht Architects Design Stunning Plaza House"

Grimaldi - Nacht arquitectos has designed Casa Plaza, a residential project located in San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina. The project is inspired by Inca cities and features four volumes arranged along the mountain slope, connected by a large square. The house is supported on piles to avoid tree felling and regulate privacy. The project provides flexible spaces for recreational and use programs, both interior and exterior, and uses sustainable materials from protected forests.

HW studio arquitectos designs ENSO HOUSE II in Guanajuato, Mexico, with a cruciform residential plan that divides the space into four quadrants by a cross of stone alleys. Each quadrant is assigned a specific function, with the design emphasizing the region's cultural and architectural heritage through the use of local stone and a focus on the surrounding landscape. The building's largest windows face south, providing a visual connection to the mountain of Santa Maria, while a long, arched stone wall protects the entrance and emphasizes the horizontal presence of the mountain in the background.
