The tower, a historic and iconic structure, offers a brief ride to the top and back down, and is visible for miles. Reports suggest the issue may have started last weekend, and the Kantor family, who owns and operates the tower, has not responded to inquiries. The Space Tower was built in 1964 and is part of a series of gyro towers built around the world.
