
Deadly Fire at Istanbul Nightclub Claims 29 Lives
A fire at a nightclub in Istanbul during daytime renovation work has claimed the lives of at least 29 people, with one person injured. The blaze broke out on the ground floor of a 16-storey building in the Gayrettepe district and was brought under control by firefighters. Arrest warrants have been issued for five individuals, and an investigation into the incident is underway. The death toll gradually increased as people succumbed to their injuries, and the nightclub had been closed for repairs during Ramadan.
